Ive done my research just cant find a good answer
Im makin this thread to figure out what coilovers i meed. I know I was Teins, but ive talked to a guy in a shop and he told me that i should go with Tein Street Flex, because it has seperate Dampening and Height adjustments. Ive reas that Tein Street basis Advance is really good, I was planning on buying those until I spoke with the man. Im not looking for a performance setup by anymeans, im just looking for some comfortable coilovers that im able to use to lower my car, and have a smooth ride in. Im not really knowledgeable when it comes to coilovers by anymeans. I recently bought some rims for my 3G 07 TL, 245/35/19 ET+33. Can someone please help me out!

Street Advance are fairly comfotable. The flex are not.
There are 3 reasons to buy the Flex:
-You want to be crazy low, and you realize that your tradeoff is ride quality.
-You know enough about coilovers to mix and match spring rates and preload amounts in order to tune them.
-You want a cheap set of full body adjustment type coilovers.
How much do you want to lower it?
Research is key:

^The moral of that story was that the only way to make the Flex ride well was to MASSIVELY lower spring rates and adjust preloads, etc.
The SA are more simple to set up. If you only plan to lower moderately, they still retain quite a bit of comfort in the TL application.

I wanna lower it about an inch. LiquidXTS has the exact rims i have and everything,
I want the fender to be almost flush with my tire, I plan on mirroring LiquidXTS’s setup the first time he lowered it. Since the photo shoot he did with VMR, I know hes lowered it a bit more. With this setup its very aggresive, its going to require me to roll and pull my fenders in the back.

The SA will easily accomodate that drop.
Pro tip: Tein's recommended damper settings are just awful (IMO). It sounds outlandish...but stiffer is more comfy. They recommend -8F and -10R. I wouldn't run any softer than -6F and -7R.
Probably good to tune the damping to how you want it before putting the seats and strut bar back in, is the point. Don't trust Tein and re-install everything without testing out the ride quality in this case lol.
Enjoy. Maybe you'll find this helpful?

see my post above.
you either move your tophats from the stock shocks or you buy an extra set.
Lots of places sell tophats. Heeltoe can set you up
