our vehicles are hubcentric...which means the hub extends past the outside of the rotor hat...this centers the wheel to the exact center of rotational axis...

what you have there are hub centric centering rings..

there are a wide range of these hub diameters depending on make and model of your vehicle...as well as in the aftermarket...there are a great deal of hub bores...most of them will be Oversized to fit a larger array of vehicle applications...those rings are adapters...in this case they go from the smaller diameter acura hub to fit a larger aftermarket wheels hub bore...

install them now or demon midgets will eat your first born child! LOL

ok thanks. i was planning to put the wheels on myself with the tire iron for the car and bringing them to mavis for an alignment. is this a bad idea? should i let mavis install them? they are already mounted and balanced

only time you really need an alignment is if there is a change in suspension components. Or if you notice uneven tread wear even after proper rotation of tires

if anyone is interested, i used the hub rings with the new wheels and have absolutely no steering wheel vibration at all. even at 100mph+

my stock wheels gave me horrible vibrations at 65mph+ even after re-balancing them a few times
