ooooo, great info. I wasn really into bbk until I went to the autoshow. In the autoshow, and in the Lexus both, there was a beautiful blue lexus IS350. It was lowerd and had BBS rims with the StopTech bbk. I loved how that car looked with the rims and the bbk setup When I saw that car, I thought to myself that I had to get the bbk for my car, but after I saw the price I knew I could wait. I wouldnt have thought it to be around $1700, that is why I was considering on getting the brembo brakes from acura. But Iam not considering that anymore since that will cost even more, so I will just wait But when i do get the bbk, it will definetly be StopTech. I think they look really cool and they are championship winning

Im such an idiot When the guy at d2autosport called me, I was so excited about the rims that I didnt aknowledge the approximit date they would be delivered. All I remember is that it might be around 4-6 weeks or 6-8 weeks. As far as the price, I didnt get the invoice yet because they told me I would get it a little later as the rims near being completed. But approximatly, they costed me $2750 shipped.
The reason why they are cheap is because they are 2 piece. I origenally was going with the 3 piece, but the guy told me that I would save $300 by going with the 2piece. They only thing I had to change was that instead of going with 8.5 in the front, I went with 8. Everything else stayed the same. I cant wait till they come in

shayan,
What's the update on your wheels? You supposed to get them soon? Just wondering cuz I'm thinking of ordering from the same place and wanted to know how there business was. Also, how many inches did you get on the lip?

Ok, so I called d2autosport about the iForged Classic's and told the guy I was wanting to get the 3 piece in a 19x8.5 set up with a 2.5" lip on all 4 rims. He said that the 2.5" lip would be fine for the rear but wouldn't work for the front. The biggest they could probaly go on the front is 2" he said but he suggested a staggered set up with 1.5" in front and 2.5" in back (not sure if I'm really feeling that set up). Is there a reason why 2.5" won't work in the front? I know the RJ 3 piece came with the 2.5" lip all around so why wouldn't these work? Any suggestions? I also told him I have 245/35/19 tires and he said he would go with 235's instead cuz the 245 might be to big, especially in the front. So now I'm confused on what to do.

I think the Devotion actually had a 2" lip in the front (for AT)...I swear I remember Ron saying that at some point. I'd go measure, but I actually have work to do today. As for the staggered look, not my thing, but it's your car...if you're hesitant about it, I wouldn't recommend getting it.

For the tires, they told me to get 235-35-19 for the fronts and 265-30-19 for the rears. I dont know anything when it comes to tires, so is this good?

I would probably get 235/35-19 all around or maybe 235 infront and 245 in the rear. No point getting 265 in the rear especailly when your wheel is only 8" wide. Also with a rear tire much wider then the front, you are just asking for more understeer.

My front rims are 19x8 and the rears are 19x10 so that is why my Iam getting 265 in the rear. So, is that fine or should I get something different? I really dont know how big the lip is because I didnt ask

I like the look of the lip sticking out further than the tire. Maybe 255? Ask them the smallest tire that will fit. I have 20x9.5 in the rear with 245/30 and it looks sick.

I will decide on what tires to get later because I have to save up for coilovers first. I also might get the clear bra put on if my Acura dealer re-paints my bumper for free because there is something wrong with the paint I will see today because I have to take it in at 2:00.
