If you have installed Tein SS...

I am considering the purchase of a TL-S and putting Tein SS w/ EDFC in it right away. I want to know if any cutting or hardware modification has to be made to install the suspension system, or if it is just a drop in component. I would really like to have the option of putting my stock suspension back in if need-be.

you'd need an aftermarket strut bar or would have to cut your strust bar, to allow for the EDFC to fit. that's about it.

What examples of aftermarket strut bars are there? I suppose I could buy a new stock strut bar if I ever wanted to go back to stock, like if I were to resell it in 3 or 4 years.

theres a few people on here that have been cutting there strut bars to fit...but if im not mistaken, i think the accords stock strut bar fits on the the tl perfectly....so some people have after market accord strut bars that leave enough space for the EDFC.

I don't know if they changed anything on the new TL-S in terms of the strut bar or suspension but otherwise it is a bolt on mod, excluding the installatoin of the EDFC. It requires you to modify your stock strut bar or run an aftermarket bar like the Greddy unit. This will require either running the Accord top hats and drilling an extra hole or just bolting the bar to one of the studs on your stock top hats. At least from what I have read that is the case... bklynpanman or Acuratein can comment further since they have installed them on their own cars.
