My brother found out today his rim is warped.. Like an egg shape and it creates the most annoying vibration even when on the back of the vehicle.

I called Acura they said only 300$ cad for the rim. I was like..l sweeeet

Then I told my brother and he said there are different shades of the rim and it likely or almost certainly will not match the other three rims.

Is this true? Because Acura said there is only one rim and it will match for sure.

Please let me know guys. Much appreciated. Because there seems to be no good answer I can get out of people so far. Hence why I made the thread.

it will not match.. there are a silvery type batch of wheels that first came on the 07-08 type s, then acura changed them for some reason I do not know to a darker batch of paint..

I have some rash on 2 of mine and the wheel shop won't even match it, I have to get all four of them re finished to ensure they all match, its really stupid

No they will not match, you will have to buy a used wheel or buying all 4 in order to match all.

Holy.. That's ballS. Either way thanks guys. I guess he will be getting new rims altogether. I guess this is the time to do it. He should step up to 18s then. It is meant to be I guess.

i love the waffles but man they def did make it complicated. theres no touch up paint that matches them perfectly either..
