Ichiba wheel spacers VS no-name wheel spacers?
alright so i'm picking up some wheel spacers to run during the winter.
i've ran ichiba V2 spacers in the past, and they've worked great with no issues.
can anyone tell me what the major differences are between the two types? you've got ichiba spacers for $125 and no-name spacers for $60.
what makes one better than the other and why should i spend double the money for the "name"?
here are some links...
$60 no-name spacers

$125 ichiba V2 spacers

***ALSO...does anyone have any pictures of a 3G TL running 25mm REAR and 20mm FRONT on stock 235/45/17 06 stock wheels?***

I have the Akata spacers from ebay, front and back. Its just a CNC'd plate, as long as they fit *and they do* dont pay for a name!

^yeah that's what i figured.
i think what i'm going to do is 25mm in the rear (rear fenders are rolled and i can run neg camber)...and do 20mm in the front.
another question tho...i have 15mm ichiba v2 already. i also have 5mm spacers.
question is, can i add the 5mm spacer WITH the 15mm spacer and run it up front? and if so, do i put the 5mm against the hub OR in front of the 15mm spacer?
i figure as long as i can get enough full turns (5-7) on the lugs...i should be fine, yes?

^yup. both should bolt right on with no problem...i'm just worried that the extended studs on the 15mm wont be long enough to compensate for the extra 5mm, you know what i mean?
do the 15mm and 25mm spacers have the same length studs?

Thinking about it, you could sell the 15mm on the BM for probably more than the Akatas would cost you, Id be wary of using 2 different style different sized spacers at the same time, spacers as they are can be considered dangerous by some, so just do it the right way and buy them in the size you want.
BTW i have 20mm front and 25mm back

you could always do that, then if you decide you need to go bigger, buy the 25's for the back, move the 20's to the front, and sell the 15!
I think 15 and 20 will be fine for you, I rub like a bitch with my 20mm's in front

sorry to hack your thread OP
I need spacers for my front ( 5mm hubcentric ) and i've read with spacers, you have to keep in check with them and torque them down here and there to make sure they are snugged? Is this true? or can i just set and forget?

I suggest checking them before hitting 100 miles, retorque. Check again 100 miles later. Then a month after. If its still good then, you should be good.

^It doesnt change your alignment any, so no extra tire wear.
It does affect your handling, but in a good way. You have a wider wheel stance so your handling improves. There are no negatives for installing the correct size spacers.
