I want a softer ride for my 07 TL-S

Car is automatic and bone stock. I want a softer ride than the factory TL-S setup. Anyone swap in a base 07 TL suspension on thier TL-S? Do you all think I would need the base car's entire strut assembly, or could I use base TL struts and use my TL-S springs to achieve a softer ride? Looking for real-world experience from anyone who might have done this. Thanks.

I don't have real-world experience, but you WILL need to swap out both springs/struts.

Reason: The spring rates are different, as well as the stiffness of the UA7 struts, as compared to the UA6.

Thanks for the confirmation that I'll need both the springs and the shocks, I appreciate it.
