I want to lower my 07' TL-S
This is my 1st post. I bought an 07' TL-S in September 07' with 150miles on it and I've only put about 7k on it.
I am interested in lowering my TL-S 1 to 1.5 inches without affecting factory SPECS. So I have been talking to the dealership and a custom auto sports dealer and obviously I want to go with the 3rd party dealer. If I get springs to lower my car do I
A. Need to include the struts?
B. Include a sway bar?
C. Getting a Camber Kit?
I was looking at Eibach Springs because that's prob the most durable brand out there. Anybody know Houston based auto custom dealers.
Bottom line if I get Eibach springs, just to lower my ride, would I need a camber kit?

A. Not necessarily, but they may the stock shocks may wear out prematurely.
B. Not, but for $120 it is the best handling improvement for the money.
C. Only if an alignment check shows that you need it. Very likely if you drop more than an inch.

a dedicated 1.5" drop can only be achieved from one of the 2
Tein S Tech Springs
Nuespeed Sport Springs
I would recommend getting aftermarket struts (koni yellows) if you want to do the drop the correct way, the factory struts will not live to see 30k miles with a 1.5" drop
I would do the progress rear sway bar as it tightens the rear during some highway driving
and finally, a camber kit isn't all that necessary if your toe is corrected during an alignment

H&R Sports:
1.4" F / 1.3" R
No Camber Kit; Stock Struts. Camber on right side is barely in spec; on the left barely out of spec.
DEFINETLY (120%) get the Rear Sway Bar. Progress 24mm FTW.

Ok everyone ive been out of thecountry and finally able to check this post. So what's the best opinion. I don't want to ruin my suspension by just putting springs on my TL-S but but if I need to add shocks and struts then do I go any further? I am not a street racer but just want her to look a little lower without ruining performance.
