I think I screwed myself- Tire size- 8.5" Aspec
hey guys I just got a TL with the asec 04 rims
2 tires need replacement so i was on the hunt for used tires and found a place while doing a road trip.
Needless to say I didnt have any internet with me to verify sizing from this site before purcahse
I knew many people went with the safe route and got a 245 40 18 tire instead of the OEM 235 40 18
Then some people went with a 255 40 18 for a slightly more agressive look.
This is the tire I was looking for........
but I mistakenly got a good deal on a 255 45 18 instead- ONLY 2 since my other 2 tires still have life on them- but they are 235 40 18.
my plan is to now run the fronts with the 235 40 18 and then replace them with a pair of 245 40 18 when needed ( or unless I find a deal on them )
I will keep the rears the 255 45 18 because I made an idiotic mistake.........is there anything wrong with this setup at all?
im on aspec suspention.
thanks

Tires will be huge, about 1 5/8" larger than the front tires. If you got a good deal on the tires, resell them and purchased the size you want, either the OE 235/40-18 or optional 245/40-18. No way around the problem as you don't see any 3G's with a 27.03" diameter tire, or ay least I haven't.
