I am not happy with my Toyo Proxes 4
The ride is kind of wobbly at low speeds when accelerating hard from start.
Steering doesn't feel so tight any more.
Tires are balanced out/aligned. I verified this at 2 places.
I don't know if this is a defect in the Toyos or if there exists some other problems.
I have 35psi in fronts and 32 psi in the rears. Its 2 months for my tires and have around 1500 miles on them. Purchased them at Discount Tires
I am thinking of getting them replaced with the Nero M+S.
I am so dissapointed.

I have the Toyo Proxes 4 and have no such issues....in fact the handling and ride are first rate.
I would have your dealership check the tires for defects or look for an issue with your suspension.
Also....did you have everything static balanced only ? If so....find a place with the Road Force balancer and have it done there.

I've been shopping for new tires and decided to go with the Proxes 4s. Hopefuly this is an isolated case.
Just a thought: I think the Proxes 4s are unidirectional. Did you verify that the rotation is correct?

Weird, I never had a problem with these tires, and I've put about 6000 miles on them. I've got 245/45/17's, and the only issue I have is rubbing on certain turns.

Took it to the dealer the other day to get the suspension and tires checked up.
According to the the service techie this is normal for these kind of tires as they are race tires and cannot be compared to the bridgestones as those are passenger tires. His argument was that the Toyos have a thinner sidewall compares to other tires and so one is more likely to feel the road underneath.
Anyways after the dealer visit the ride quality has improved a lot. No idea what happened there but I am happy now. The car feels solid once again.
Tire size is 235/45/17.
