How to tell if you have A-Spec Suspension installed?

Not trying to be facetious at all.

Bought my 2004 TL used and can't get in touch with the previous owner (number changed). My TL has the A-Spec body kit on it already, and what triggered me to think the suspension may have possibly been upgraded is the fact that an 06 tester I drove (non A-Spec) seemed to ride a lot softer and seemed 'higher.' That could be attributed possibly to the car not being 'settled' yet. Just don't know. Either way, is there anything I can physically see underneath the car to be able to tell if the suspension has indeed been upgraded to A-Spec?

I think there are part numbers lists on the shocks, but I could be wrong.

You may also have a Comptech rear sway bar. Look under the rear of the car..the CT RSB is silver....the stocks were black.

The test is in the steering. I know this from other cars and the TL was no different. The steering helt heavier or more resistive than stock.

This is pretty easy, hit the gas and if you feel the back end squats you don't have A-spec. Stop quickly and if the front end dives, you don't have A-spec.
