How much? Falken ZE512s....

Well, in the interest of shopping and based on reading here... I called my local Sears (the local Falken dealer...) and got a cost to me of:

$775.54 out the door

For tires and installation of some new Falken ZE512's... Does this sound right to you guys??? (Sounded high to me...)

For comparison, the PZero Nero's from Sears (installed) were $1269!!! Also as a comparison, the tires and shipping from Tirerack for the Nero's is only about $575. Labor for installing new tires I brought in at Sears was $211. (Again, sounds high to me...)

Any info would be appreciated!!!

I thought I will pay more in NYC...

It seems way too costly... I prolly pay half of that quote to have my 512s installed/balanced by Hunter road-forced system.

Do you have the break-down cost???

dude no!!! go to www.edgeracing.com or www.tirerack.com and get costco to mount and balance them for $9/wheel (Sears prolly charges $12/wheel) when they arrive.

WHAT A HORRIBLE DEAL.

I am getting the Pzero Neros from edge for like 12x/Tire so it will be like 600 total for tires/shipping/mount & balancing!!!!

The 512's are like 89 bucks a tire ... again order yourself!

That's what I thought guys... When I was on the phone with Sears, I was like WAH??? Huh??? Are you sure...

I'll check that edgeracing.... Maybe they have the Falkens. Tirerack does not... Otherwise, the Nero's it is...

CostCo is right across the street. I'll have to see if they can order Falkens and/or the PZero's... When I stop there, I'll post those costs too...

WTF was Sears even thinking? I thought I sensed some crack smoking... '

EDIT: That edgeracing is a great site... THANKS MAN...

I paid exactly $500.03 for the set of 4 including mounting, balancing, installation, tax, and a road hazard warranty.

Best deal I've found in the NYC area, http://ganintire.com

I thought Costco no longer mounted tires that were not purchased from them?

At Costco you can get the Michellen Pilot Sport A/S installed for about $800, and that includes lifetime rotation/balance, plus road-hazzard warranty.

I second www.edgeracing.com . I bought some 512's from them when I had my hatch. Nobody else even came close.

Match the price w/ America Tires

Go surf online and find the cheapest price. Print it out and bring it to Discount Tires/America's Tires. They will match the price and just a bit more because of the installation and warranty. I bought Falken Koblenz 18's and Falken 512 Tires 235/40/18 for $1260 out of the door, including warranty (flat tires, potholes) and service (lifetime rotation, ....) Hope this help.
