NEVER do this. What is displayed on the sidewall is the maximum inflation pressure (as in "not to exceed"). This rating is for seating the bead while mounting the tire. It is NOT a recommended pressure for daily driving.
The correct recommended tire pressures for most vehicles can be found on the driver's (or pass) door jamb, and sometimes in the glovebox. It will almost always be in the owner's manual (RTFM).
the correct recommended pressures -
for a STOCK 6mt: fr35 rr32
for a STOCK auto: fr32 rr32
if you have an a-spec kit these recommendations change. There should have been an owner's manual insert that came w/ your kit.
i tend to run my 6mt @ 37/34 w/ Bridgestone S-03's.
