How many who are lowered needed front camber kit?

How many who are lowered needed front camber kit?

I am trying to get a feel for how many lowered TL's have had to use a front camber kit? And, which front camber kit? I have read a number of threads that discuss, getting away with just the rear, but would like to hear from everyone lowered 1.5"-2.0" or lower. If you can let us know how low you are dropped and what camber kit you have, and if your front camber is off. Thanks

Well, maybe my allignment specs will help? BTW-yellow=Green (printer out of Ink)

most people make the mistake that camber is what will make the tires go bald. Camber only effects the angle of wheel looking at the vertically. The only reason you would need more camber is for clearance to prevent rubbing. I am lowered on air bags and i run pretty low not sure what the drop is but i am running the skunk2 tsx upper control arms. My camber is not perfect to each side but that could be due to many numerous things. When i go to get my alignment i aim for the toe to be in check and camber to be close to each other.

OP, you should be just fine w/o the front camber kit. just rotate ur tires often and keep the toe @ 0.

Thanks, I do rotate often, previously at around 5000 miles. Would you suggest more often than that? BTW- how do you like the Potenze RE760's? Your car looks great with the perch level that you have it on, with your 19's!

I dont think you need a camber kit with those specs. Like they said, rotate more often and check the wear pattern. If it looks excessive then get the kit

What kit would you get, the ingalls or skunk2? I think that the skunk2 looks like it has the most adjustment, although I don't believe I need that much, it still would be nice, if I decide to go lower and need more adjustment. Let me know. Love, the wheels/mirrors!!!

so far im actually liking the re760s. i feel the wet traction performance is lacking a bit but i can deal with it. nice and quiet tire so far

i believe skunk 2 sells the upper arms camber kit for the tsx which is a direct fit for the TL. if the camber up front is still bugging you, go that route

Cool, yeah I agree with you on the wet traction, at times. I really don't have anything else to compare to besides those stock Turanza (all season) . I may look into the camber kit, can't buy new tires to often. Thanks for all your input!

I killed both rear inner tires before a new allignment now after about 3,000 miles my left frt inner is wearing

rest is all good though, tire pressure is good, maybe control arm is bad anyone have advice???

No camber kit installed on my car

That doesn't sound normal... even with natural camber you shouldn't be going through tires like that. Get an alignment; it might be toe.
