How do I deactivate the TPMS?

How do I deactivate the TPMS?

Hi everyone, I have a 2006 TL and have SSR GT3s on them and the TPMS error keeps on popping up. Is there a way to deactivagte it?

Other than installing TMPS senders on the SSR's, none that I know of.


(Moving to 3G TL).

Just have to turn it off everytome ypu start the car, but the TPMS indictor will remain on.

Can you put TPMS on any aftermarket wheel?

yes you can fit TPMS sensors on aftermarket wheels.

Let me clarify this. On cetain wheels the why that they are constructed the factory TPMS sensors will not be able to be installed in the normal manner through the valve stem hole, so they need to be added using straps.

Thank you for everyones help. I just bought a set of TPMS sensors but I will need to figure out how to program them.

I hope you bought Acura OEM TPMS. Some members have had problems with aftermarket sensors.

As for programming, there is no need. The sensors program themselves once you install them.
