So after getting a bubble in each front tire, i had no choice but to get new tires.

I went to a place near by (popular by many in NYC - Ganin tires) to get some new tires. Since, I don't need those fancy racing tires but just wanted something decent that grips the road in winter and takes care of the rain. He sold me the Mastercraft Avengers LSR (first time i hear this company). He said it's a pretty good tire for my wheels.

How bad are they???

Mastercraft is a subsidiary of Cooper Tire Co. Similar type of relationship as Bridgestone and Firestone.

 

are they at least decent???

 

Never owned or knew of anyone with Cooper tires.

 

i have to say, they are not that bad, after owning the stock Michelins on 99tl, they gripped the road pretty good, drive was quiter, and smoother... But then again, anything is better that stock crap!!!
