Angry Hit a pothole and front tire blew out driving with the spare for days

It's sad the roads are so bad in some areas in the south, particularly where I live. I hit a pothole and was not even going above 25-30 mph and it slowly went flat. I had to order two new Bridgestone re760 Sport tires (I like the tire at Costco, even though it does not have a mileage warranty), in my Aspec wheels size, I run 235/40/ 18 inch. Hopefully only 2 more days with the spare!

IF only car manufactors offered full size spares that fit in the tire well.

would anyone know the widest tire that will fit in the trunk? 205/ 215?
Even if its temporary, its better than riding the donut.

auto manufactures have been leaving out the spare as early as 2010.

on a recent road trip to florida, I managed to stuff a full sized spare TL wheel and stock tires in the trunk.
it bulged the mat a little bit.
you could probably get away with a 225 tire in the tire well

I will take a picture of the spare to show ya'll. It is still on the car! Hope today or tomorrow to get the new 235/40/18 on. Mine still would be too big to fit in the wheel well. You say 225 max. At least the spare is a little better in appearance than the usual spares.

Some a lot earlier than that ... on that note .. remember to check the pressure in the spare often ... notorious for bleed down .. Some are as high as 60 PSI.
