HELP! Wheel search is irritating the ...

the crap out of me. I have looked at about 2000 different wheels online over the holiday weekend. I want phat lip, 1.5 - 2.0 inches. I found a few that I like, less than 10, that according to what I read, would fit. Out of those, 2-3 were affordable, less than $400/ea. I stopped by a local dealer who carries some of the brands I saw and it turns out that the ones I thought would work, are for rwd. The fwd versions only have about 1/2" lip.

The only thing I can find left is Zenetti Mystic's in 18x8 but only a 40 offset. Will 40 work and is this my only option?

Need suggestions BAD. Please help.

Thanks

P.S. Love Shyne's Work Euroline LS, but can only imagine the $$$.

not sure I found the right Axis Mod7, but if I can avoid the 'spoke' look, that would be a preference, and the Axis I liked was $1500+/ea. OUCH. I want to find an 18x(7.5,8.0,8.5) not sure if 8.5 will fit, in chrome. I don't have nice rotors to show off, yet, so a more 'full' vs. spoke design. I probably sound pretty picky here, I am assuming 'it' is out there, just looking for someone who knows.

What are Lowenhart LD5's or LS1's going for?

18x8 will require a minimum +48 offset to avoid any rubbing. +40 is out of the question.

Thanks for the offset #. Like everybody else, I don't want to rub either. Getting a price on these this weekend.

If you are on a Budget, Lowenharts will be way out of your price range. You can probably get 18 Chromes for around 7-800/each plus rubber your looking over $3500.

I would go with 18x7.5 +45 offset

If you want rims similar to Lowenharts but a little cheaper check out Maya and Maido rims. All of these a distributed by DAZZ.

Yea, the Lowenharts would be too much jack. I did find one Maido that I really like. http://www.racerwheel.com/wheels-rims-maido.html

It says the 18x8 is +110. That doesn't sound good. Don't know what I could get them for yet, but SWEET.

I would like to keep the rims at $400 or less/ea. Winter is coming here in the midwest, I will probably wait till Spring to get tires and install them. Will do springs and sways in the next few months. Debating over the kit with the color difference in WDP.
