help: tire replacement

I need to replace 205/60/16 (stock tires, Mich.)

Anyone else had to replace their stock tires? If so, what tires did you replace them with and how much?

Are there any other series tires that we can replace our stock ones with other then 205/60/16?

I'm low on $$ so i need to find some affordable tires, I went to Discount Tires, NTB, Walmart looking for 205/60/16 and the tires run ~150 per tires. That's way too much to spend on 16 inch tires you can get 19 inch tires for about that price.

thanks for your help

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE950s in 225/55-16. I think they are really good, and they fit pretty well too. I love 'em. and they are not too expensive.

and now you'll say they are rated H (210kmh --> 130mph) and the TL can go over that speed, but you dont have to worry about that, cuz the tire can handle a bit more, except if you do 145mph during like 1 hours but i dont think you'll do that...

I replaced my stock tires with TOYO Proxies. I purchased these tires on the net and found them to be very good. They cost $91.00/tire delivered and they are V rated at 145 mph. Of course you have to pay for mounting and balancing. I stayed with the 225-60-16 size.

I replaced my stock tires recently. I upgraded them to 225/55/16 Dunlop SP 5000 Asy. The new tires are wonderful...i don't have anything bad to say about them. Got them for $106 a piece.
