Help! Shudder at 20mph

Hey, new to azine and I've been searching for the past couple days and can't find any threads to answer my questions. If you know of one just shoot it my way and I will be greatful.

I have a base 06 to and about a week ago I lowered it using KYB shocks in the front and type S in the rear. They are wrapped in H&R sports springs. I drove hard on these for about 25ish miles (cornering, breaking, accelerating hard). I then brought it in for alignment.

A day later I noticed a light shudder only between 18-22 mph under light throttle. If I go hard I don't notice it. It seems to do it mostly in second gear but I noticed it once or twice in 3rd. And sometimes it's not even there!. My car has 150k on it and was completely stock when I bought it. It had been sitting a few years. I did change the trans fluid and 3rd & 4th gear pressure switches. My best guess is CV shafts.

It is very annoying and any help would be greatly appreciated!

A lot of guys on here experience symptoms like this after lowering. Its just one of those things with the 3g TL, lowering causes the cv angle to be off which in turn causes a slight shudder. My car still shuddered even after brand new cv axles, although the shutter wasn't as bad as before it still remains. Something I have learned to live with

Joe, my 04 AT would "shutter" the same as yours. Changed the pressure switches and the 3x tranny fluid. No more shutter, but I had to replace the switches after a month or two. First set were NOT OEM and failed.
Replaced w/ OEM & car has been problem free and that was last November. B

That is a sign of a transmission starting to go bad

most aftermarket axles are crap quality and lack the vibration damper that's on the factory axles. A few folks have had good luck with AWPI brand axles from rockauto. I'm using Raxles and loving them.
