Right now I am at 17000 miles and I have 5/32 of thread left on my original EL42 but the tires are not gripping the road much anymore so I complainted to Firestone district manager and he willing to sell me any set of tires for half off and no labor. I am chosing between the Firestone Wide Oval and the Brigstone Re750 but i am leaning toward the Wide Oval because ppl report it has less road noise than the RE750. Price different is about 20$ each which mean I would only have to pay for 10$ more if i go with RE750. My friends has RE750 and Conticontact Sport in his BMW and they are very loud. Not sure which set cause the noise because the RE750 owners have report noisy at low speed with fit the problem on his car, but they noise dont exit until later of the tire life...his tires are still brand new...forgot to mention that the 2 tires look identical just different names
