Help with lowering tl!
hey i have been wanting to lower my 2006 acura tl (base) and money is always a problem so the cheapest springs i found were the tein ss for 210$
(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...=p4506.c0.m245
thing is they only lower the car 1.3 in front and 1.2 in rear
is this even gonna make a difference lol
otherwise imma go with the skunk2 for 190 they lower 2.25 front and 2 rear (dont want tooo low)

theres a difference between the tein s-tech's and tein ss
tein s-techs are lowering springs, tein ss = tein super streets which are coilovers (dampers+springs). with the s-techs you'll be putting stechs onto your stock shocks which in the short run will look fine, but in the long run your shocks will die faster. any lowering spring or coilover will make a difference appearance wise, but you have to consider the long term effects. that being said, id go with the teins which wont put so much stress on your oem shocks*. 2.25 and 2 in the rear is considerably low, pretty much the maximum amount you can go on tein super streets.
*not too sure on my statement, someone correct me if wrong

I say H&R race springs. 2"in the rear 1.75" in the front. Nice drop. Only problem with springs is you need to end up getting shocks. Koni's cost about 600. so if u add 600 (for shocks) + 200 (springs) thats appx 800. You can get a set of Tein Basics for that price. But if ur looking for a fast drop with little money. then go with H&R
