HELP: Axis Penta vs. A-Specs
So wheels are the final piece as far as exterior mods go on my car. I've got an 05 TL (Deep Green Pearl) and I need some serious help as far as choosing the right wheels. I've narrowed my choices down to the 18x8.5 A-Spec wheels (Gunmetal) vs. Staggered Axis Penta (Hyperblack w/ polished lip, 19''). I really wanna go for that agressive yet sleek look on my car and wheels just finish it all off. What do you guys think??? Any opinions would help

a-specs are nice but they dont come in 19's

anyone know how dark the hyperblack really is? is it as dark as it seems from the pictures?

if you're not dropped get the 18" a-specs. otherwise get the 19" pentas.

everything always looks different in pictures!

you kno, I was thinking about that too. all the cars i've seen on azine that have the pentas are all dropped. i do plan on getting the a spec suspension down the line, but i still don't know if it'd be enough to make the pentas look good. right now i just have the stock tl suspension

Here is mine with the Penta style wheel and a 1" drop .. not too far off from the A Spec drop .. least you can see what it will be close to.

Go with A-Specs, if not going to lower the car.
Plus I'm not a fan of staggered on FWD. my :2 cents:

Even though I'm biased because I have a set of 18 x 8.5 Gunmetal A-Specs, you can't go wrong with either choice

aspecs come in 19" if you get them from the MDX and don't have the brembo brakes
