Help; bent wheel 05 6MT with chrome 5 spokes!
Ugh, so I hit a HUGE pothole yesterday. Wheel is slightly bent no lip damage (outside of my normal curb rash). I looked into getting straightened but so far everyone just wants to use a torch and had no answers as to how they know they aren't overheating it... and or chrome damage. I'll call a few more places.
Questions....
Since I have a 6MT, I know some of the OEM replicas wheels won't fit...
I keep finding these wheels... seems to be two different numbers associated
and then
And I guess would I be safe getting remade 2006 type-s wheels? Would they clear the brakes?

Any thoughts ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. I'm on the spare now; which sucks as my drive to work is far and the spare is 14 years old now. Need to get to work and move family/kids around. Also trying to keep this as inexpensive as possible.
My thoughts is if I can get a whole set for $450-550 might as well do that vs one chrome wheel shipped to me for $300+. All of my current wheels have bad road rash... so replacing them all might not be a bad thing.
Anyone have a chrome 5 spoke laying around!?!? lol

From what I have seen on here, any replica is hit or miss on clearing the Brembos. There is a set of non-chrome OEM rims on KC Craigslist in your price range. No idea the overall true condition of them. Also, have you checked with Jay Wolfe to see who they use for rim repair?
Hopefully you have already or plan to take it in for an alignment. If the hole was big enough to damage the tire and rim...no way the alignment is still good. I caught a massive pothole on I-70 several years back that didn't visibly bend the rim, just flat spotted, bubbled the tire, but knocked the alignment way out.

Thanks!
I saw the CR wheels; they have some road rash i can see in the photos.
Ya my tire is toast for sure. I put it up on jack strands and drove the wheels. I can see the wheel moving back and forth a bit
With the unknowns of the replica wheels it seems the cheapest solution seems to be one of these... I just hope this isn't a chromed replica, I sent a question to seller. What a let down for the replicas, I can get an entire set for not much more than one chrome wheel.

Bought this one to replace a bent wheel on my 06. My only concern was the cutout for TPMS. What I received is identical to the other 4 wheels, can't speak as to whether or not it clears the Brembos since it was installed on the rear.
