Having a hard time keeping air pressure in one tire
Okay... I've been dreading to post a question like this... cause the answer might not be what I want to hear... so here goes.
As some of you may already know... I have a set of "Rezax II" 19" wheels by "Work" If you're not familiar with Work wheels... click on their website www.work-wheels.co.jp I was lucky and got them used about a year and half ago... Forged-3 piece, very strong (and NOT cheap, I found out later, I have the most expensive set in their catalog). Anyway, of the four wheels/tires... Lately I've noticed on the most worned out tire, I was having a hard time keeping the air pressure in. I figured, it was due to the wearing of the tire... it's a "left" tire... so naturally... more wear, right?
Okay... so Saturday, I went and got a new tire for that wheel only (kinda broke right now). I had purchased the other tires from them too (America's Tire), so I asked them to balance them while at it... so they did. Anyway, to make a long story short, that new tire is ALSO NOT holding the air in. The car drives fine... no visual damage to the wheel... what do you guys think it is? If it's the wheel (which, most likely is), I hope it won't cost too much for repair, if it's repairible.

Definitely sounds like a bad seal on that one wheel. Take the wheel off the car and do the "soap" test to identify where the leak is coming from. Who knows, it may just be a bad valve stem.

It could be the valve stem.....most 3 piece wheels have a bolt in valve stem that the seals go bad after awhile. Take it back and let them "dunk" the tire, they'll find the leak...
