FWIW, have G-Max AS-03 on my '05 6MT for ~20k miles. Overall these are really nice A/S tires especially for the money. Better dry/wet grip than the the A/S Avon's I had before. In snow they perform OK (not great and not awful) for a A/S.

Just got an 08 TL with a set of worn out OEM EL42's on it. What a sucky tire. This car has only 19k miles and they are worn out and won't balance.
Had just about settled on the Continental ExtremeContact DWS...then I found this tire.
The General Altimax HP is the best tire I ever had on my Mercedes. Loved that tire.
One thing: It only shows available in the 245/45/17 and not in the 235/45/17. It has a 95W rating.
I found it on tirerack.com. No survey results yet and just 3-4 reviews (all very good).
Great price, too.

A 245 vs 235 tire means nothing--I run a 255 on my KBP and 245-18s on my ASM.

+1 for the General GMax AS-05's! One of the few recommended models by Consumer Reports in the high-performance all-season category, and best bang for the buck.
