H&R Springs - part numbers - fitment concerns

First off. I searched this - to not many good leads.
Second - I talked to Marcus and he said that they would fit.

Now, here is my question. I ordered a used set of said H&R sport springs.
I have a TL-S 07 6mt.

The springs are pt. # 51808 O/E (03-07 accord v6 2 dr) which are the 51404 04-08 TL springs.

I bought used from a guy on here and they are 'sport' springs but everything I can tell is that they are the OEM springs that HR makes???? but at least not the race springs.

I was told by marcus that the TL and the TL-S springs should swap over no problem but ride height may be a little different due to struts.

All the threads I could find were back in 08 and there was not much type s involvement yet.

Would I be ok to install these since they are going on stock shocks to get me down a little bit for now. I plan on switching to koni yellows / springs or ht specs or coils in another 30k to 40k miles so couple years.

Are the spring rates and ride heights any different from base to S??

It has been a while since I really messed with suspension (92 hatch with kyb agx's and nuespeed springs) and never on a car this nice.
Any input would be helpful and the biggest upset I guess is that I really wanted the sports not the less intense factory springs or O/E or whatever the base H&R springs are.
Thanks
Dahmer

First, look up the part applications on the H&R site. My personal opinion is to use the part number spec'd for your vehicle. However, some have called H&R and they say that "Part x and Part y are the exact same part, but with different numbers." How you and I can know what's what, I have no idea.

Here are the Acura fitments and the "correct" part for the TL-S is 50106. I have this spring and am happy with it.

51808 are Sport springs for the 2dr 6-cyl Accord ('03 - '07). 50104 are the Sport spings for the TL '04 - '08. 51404 are not listed as an Acura nor a Honda application.

TL and (some?) Accord springs with "fit" physically in a TL-S, but whether they provide the expected difference in handling and/or ride height, I can't say.

I've never seen any place that lists actual spring rates for H&R springs or for any of the OE TL/TL-S springs.

Yeah box says 50104 for TL but spring says 51808 which from info I gathered is what everyone with a TL has experienced.

Heeltoe did say I should be fine but it does bother me therefor I just can not risk it.
Jumping the gun on ordering parts has owned me once more. I got them used for a really good deal and they look like excellent springs.

I will most likely list these on black market for a TL owner to be happy and I have really been looking at the HTspec I
