I Just installed mine tonight with a 2.2" drop in the front and 1.75 in rear w/ Koni SP3's and id say the car looks really nice. although i feel too much vibration when i turn right for some odd reason.. i have a feeling that it might be my axles wearing out and plus i still need an alighnment after lowering. minor fixes!

I feel like the ride is too low so i am raising it up either today or tomorrow to the first height perch setting. not to mention the crappy ride when there are multiple passengers in the car.
I had a question to ask her on the forums.. after the 2.2 in drop in front and 1.75 in rear (H&R race springs+ koni neuspeed sp3), the ride feels like it bottoms out a lot and there's also a weird vibration coming from the front driver side. at first we thought it mightve just been the wheels not put on properly after we did all the work but that surely wasnt the case. I still havent gotten an alignment after sucha significant drop and i am hoping this vibration goes away once i have it aligned properly. the problem is that the front driver side feels like it vibrates when steering right past a certain speed.

I like that drop, i had eibach's 1" drop on my previous 04 tl. I didn't like how the front looked higher than rear. I was looking into getting the h&r race springs for my 08 tl , this just confirms it. So it's sitting that low because your shocks are adjustable??

no i am on the middle height perch of the Koni SP3's which means it is the drop advertised by the spring manuf. . I can go .5 inch lower but as you can see, there is no point in going any lower and putting stress on the axles. I am going to raise it up to the first perch in the front to get better overall ride quality and not rub. I am currently rubbing with stock wheels+2.2 in drop in the front.. fml

Oh ok! Car looks tite! U plan on getting wheels? I was debating on that issue also, with that much of a drop are 20's out of the question . On my 04 tl I had dropstar 20's no rub at all . Only 1" drop though, I wanted it lower! Maybe 19's is the way to go!

yeah i just got my alignment and everything done after raising the car up by .5 inch and its def. more drivable around city as i am a commuter. its a good setup yet i still feel like the shocks arent as stiff as i wanted them to be even on the firmest setting.

i would think it's axles....i just installed Tein SS lowest setting....axles got worn....had them replaced no more problems

i couple of q's.. does the back ever look like its sits lower then the front? and how do these compare to tein s techs?... i really debating between these, ground control coilovers, and the heal toe ones...

Prom, I've got the Sports Spring (not the Race Springs), and really like them. Firm ride and no tucking of the wheels and tires. If I remember correctly, the Race Springs go VERY low. You could possibly have rubbing issues.

I'm back
Hi Steven, do you need a rear camber kit for the sport springs?

For the H&R Sports Springs you do not need a camber kit. I had my car aligned about 5 days after the install to allow for settling and the shop told me the car's camber leeway min/max adjustments are more than enough to accept a 1.4 inch mild drop. Going down to race springs would need a camber kit.
