He had a bad experience where the car automatically adjusted the ride height while he was driving and caused some damage. I actually had this happen to me once too. Since then, I've turned off the active ride height monitoring and manually switch between height presets with the touchpad.

Just a reminder to always buy from a REPUTABLE seller, I came real close to losing my hard earned money to a scammer on ebay. Through little research I found that hes been scamming people on forums for years. I am so glad I avoided this headache.

I went with the accuair touchpad elevel and airrex suspension. I also got dual 444c compressors with the accuair 5 gallon tank, 3/8 airline and exo mounts.

Nice hell of a setup. I placed my replacement order today went with switchspeed management and dual 444 viairs. I've heard e level is annoying. Oh and don't expect the struts anytime soon. Ordered mine 1-23 and still haven't got em

Well yeah...the Accuair parts are stocked all of the US. The air struts are "made to order" from the overseas manufacturer.

Pretty disappointed with my purchase from them. First they let me order a management setup not capable of raising the front of my car and only reason I found out was good guys on here. Then this shit. Not gonna get my business again.

I actually ordered my stuff from them because of all the positive comments on this thread. They actually contacted me a couple days after I placed my order to tell me they lost my order and wanted to verify what had been ordered.

I received my management pretty quick do, I figured everything would arrive as one delivery with the struts.

Bag Riders is a good vendor. Unfortunately, most of them are mostly knowledgable with VW's and Subarus mainly. Acuras and Hondas are new to them. There was some trial & error when I ordered from them, but everything worked out well in the end. To their defense, even Air Lift doesn't yet acknowledge the issues with their Autopilot V2 management paired with our cars. I called them months ago before I bought my setup, and they had no clue that the V2 has issues raising Acuras/Hondas. As far as them not ordering your air struts when they were supposed to...that's pretty disappointing, especially when the lead time is already 3-4 weeks. You should ask them to hook you up with a discount on your next order, I bet they'll do it.

Just stopping by for some info on air ride. Learning all I can before making the purchase. Seems like piecing the parts seems the best way and save some cash for other things. Carry on...

Yeah, piecing together the whole kit isn't avoidable since a lot of the parts are universal to any application. Only the air struts are specific to the TL. Do a lot of research, there are a bunch of options out there. Other good air forums to check out:

I'm trying to get my air ride setup for new year. I do see that airlift has a camber adjustment on their selected strut kits but none for the TL. Any recommend strut? Is there an air management that has live air pressure reading like the airrex kit or can I add it with a dakota digital gauge. It seems like people are having problem with accuair with random leveling. Any kits you guys recommend or have a preference?

Talk to Bruce. Doesn't he rep for Airrex now? Their struts are nice. You can't get shocks/struts with camber plates for the TL. You have to get a traditional camber kit.

I leave my auto-leveling feature turned off. There's no need for the live monitoring unless you are really lazy and/or can't remember to adjust the height when you need to. My height never changes unless I have a car full of people, and then I just hit one of the presets and it adjusts to the appropriate height.

Yeah, Bruce is a authorize seller for Airrex. I just want a management system to monitor it if there was a leak I can find it easier. I'm still a noob with air setup. Do you mind if I message you John if I have any questions?

I just posted this video on my Facebook as a joke to all my buddies who in school were in to cars doing engine swaps and I was lowering my truck, doing custom body work and bagging it. I always asked my friends why they just didn't bag their cars. They all made fun of me calling me Mexican and that cars on bags are rediculous! They weight too much and only faggots bag cars. Cornering would be bad and like driving a boat.

Now over 13 years later I'm tagging them in a video about air ride being better than coilovers haha.
It's like someone put a bagged "VIP" car in a fast n furious movie and now everyone and their mom are adding air ride!

Only difference is the Japanese are a lot smarter! The kit for my truck for air management costs a few hundred. The rear link set-up is the most expensive because thornebeck bros invented these link kits made of this really think durable metal essentially replacing the frame. Even the control arms were beefed up. For about $2k I can get the 4 link, 4 bags /cups and brackets, tank, 2 480 compressors, controller, valves, fittings, cross members to raise the gas tank and transmission, piping and misc parts.

But with Accuair for $2700 you get 4 springs, 1 tank, 1 compressor, valves, fittings, hardware. For another $600 you get a controller haha. So Accuair is making a fortune off air ride for cars!

What I don't get is why ones don't get larger tanks (4 gal?) And two compressors? Guys with bagged trucks constantly flip switches. We need two compressors to keep filing the 8-10 gallons up. Most of the time two tanks. Do car guys not flip switches a lot?

I don't know why, I know I'm really jealous! But I just feel like Accuair with their their censors in all four corners, their ride monitoring and self leveling I feel like all the car guys are cheating now. We didn't have all that when I was younger. I think the air ride in the range rover first came out in 03 and hag the ride monitoring. I wish we would have had "bolt on's" back then that took two hours too install! There was an all bolt on system but it wasn't that great. Later a better one was made but welding has always been the best method for trucks.
