Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S vs. Nitto Motivo??

getting 255/40-17 to put back on the stockies.... I can get either tire for roughly the same price. Which is better between the Eagle Sport A/S or the Motivo?

Think the Nitto Invo's are worn out? LOL

I've got about 5000 miles on my Motivo's and love them. Quiet, no problem in the wet, didn't have much snow this winter but with the little we had they were fine. Although they're still new, there's no sign of wear. When I need tires again, I'll go with the Nittos.

Earlrabbit, did you experience any of the weird 'lateral squishy-ness' some reviews refer to, while changing lanes or whatever? Soft sidewalls? Thanks for the feedback.

I've got over 40K on my Motivos (225/50/17) and I really can't come up with one bad thing to say about them. They handled great on both wet and dry. I do not use them for snow.

They won't make it to the advertised 60K, but they have been great based on what I paid for them. Especially, when you compare them to the OEM Michelins. The Nittos were significantly better.

I will be ordering them again.

Have about 1000 miles on my Motivo's. They are great for a daily, sidewall looks awesome too.

I don't really push my car hard very often but when I do, I haven't experienced any sidewall squishiness. I've found them to be very responsive but I like to keep the tire pressure towards the upper end of the range.

My Motivos have made it through 4 seasons in Canada and no issues. Overall great tires and do surprisingly well in Winter conditions.

My 06 came with Motivos with maybe 60%-65% thread life left. They are OK, but they run rough when cold until they get warmed up. I don't imagine they would have the wet pavement traction that the Eagle SportA/S would have.
