Good decision and price on 235/40/18 pirelli nero?

i ordered a set of tires yesterday with discount tire , i dont really need them right now but most of the people that have interest in buying my old rims want them with tires, so i figure i might as well just get new ones. anyway i got the 235/40/18 pirelli zero nero for 150 a tire plus am eligible for the 40 dollar rebate that's going on, so basically 720 out the door with replacement certificates. i've seen good things written about these tires, anyone with the same setup? i'll be running them on my new enkei ekm3 hypersilver 18x8 40 offset.

I had P-Zero Neros a few years ago and they didn't even last 30,000 miles before one blew out. I've bought Toyo Proxes 4 since then and they last for 40,000+ miles - I change them when they get really noisy.

245/40-18 would be the size. Here I go again. The 245 is just about the same size as the OE Michelins 25.7"/25.6" while the 235 is only 25.4" in diameter.

I've heard good things about these tires, never used them personally but people like them.

Ebay has these also for about $120 per tire and additional shipping which is about $10/tire. But no replacement certs.
