Getting Wheels Chrome DIpped??
I called about 8 Wheel/Auto/Custom places -- 6 said no, 2 of which said "Call california or florida" uhhh.. thanks.
2 the "experts" weren't in and the ladies weren't sure, so I have to call back... those two ended up being more towards central NY (finger lakes)
Sooooooooo anything in northern/northwestern PA or any places on line/with 800 numbers u can ship em to and then get em back?
thansk

I was thinking about picking up an extra set of type s wheels (around $500) and sending them to have chromed (another $550) plus shipping costs ($75?). All in all, around $1125.00....decided to wait and get 18 19 inchers. Heres the link anyway... http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=57793

My basis for making the comment that I did, was simply because I had previously elucidated my logic behind the decision to purchase wheels, as outlined above. I'm not going to waste time discussing my reasoning behind the remarks I made any further.
Moreover, your post was hardly written efficiently and will unquestionably not be up for any writing rewards.

I'm sorry, I don't ever remember asking for your insignificant boorish opinion. Thank you for pointing out the use of a fragmented sentence in my previous post, however, I was not writing an essay. I was making a comment that was neither directed toward you, nor meant to be rude toward the person it was directed at. In all actuality it was intended as a jovial remark toward ValueTL.

Starting with your first statement, which was clearly written with a questioning intent, you will notice that you are lacking any formal and/or proper punctuation. (i.e. question mark) Continuing on, you used the improper contraction of "its." "Its" is an adjective generally used of or relating to "it" or "itself" -- moreover as agent, possessor, or object of an action. Furthermore, you may notice that you have incorrectly spelled the word "should." Also, when using "english" in context as a directive toward "English" as in the English language, it should be capitalized. Try as I might, I could not find a definition for the word so eloquently put forth in your post: "homoish." High School writing classes teach us that, in writing, it is improper to use slang and/or derogatory terminology -- but I'm sure you knew that Professor.

you're wasting your $$$ if you get it chrome dipped...the chrome on the rims will eventually start chipping away and it will look nasty. No matter what people tell you it will start chipping...not now but later on. If you want chrome than get chrome in the first place...but never get it dipped...unless you don't care and have $$$ to waste.
