nope id leave them just the way they are but go with pirellis or Goodyear f1's if u can afford the all season ones.....i got the pzero neros and they are wicked in the rain..... people also like falkens which are good too. if u go too wide or to high in profile it messes with ur gas mileage.

wider is possible, i think i have seen as wide as 255. i think there is actually a thread titled "why you should put 255 on stocks..." or something like that.

i would not go low profile unless you plan a big drop, all you will do is open up a bigger gap between the tire and the car

245/45x17 works for me. the girlfreind has a harder time scraping curbs w/ the rims.

i'm very happy w/ goodyear eagle f1 so far (<1k miles).

i was ok w/ bridgestone pole position s-03's until they got very near the wear bars and got very noisy.

btw, i went w/ the stock size for snow tires (on oe rims).
