wrong section...........they will fit fine....some people do not like the tire size on how it looks on the tl...mostly prefer 235/35/19

You bought the wheels before test fitting them on your car?

Anyways, they should fit fine. The overall size of the wheel/tire combo is larger than the stock wheel/tire so your speedo will be off just by a little bit. Whenever you get new tires, make sure the sidewall size is 35 and not 40 like it is currently.

No get 235/40 all around. I'm running on 235/35 and the wall is to small.

BUT if you want the overall wheel/tire dimensions to be as close to stock sizes as possible, you want 35 size sidewalls.

I bought my G35's with the same size tires you have. The 245/40's in the rear would rub whenever i hit bumps on the freeway. I went with 235/35/19 fr, 245/35/19 in the rear. I agree with your first instinct to get 225/35 fr and 245/35 rr, that's what i would do if i could do it over again. The rears look really nice with just a very slight stretch to them, but the 235/35 fronts are a 90deg. sidewall and look too 'meaty' compared to the rear.
