Full Size Spare Tire

Does anybody know if a full size wheel/tire set fits in the spare tire well? I would like to replace the stock spare tire with a full size tire.

Never tried, but as the T145/70-R17 is about 25" in diameter, I believe the well will accept the full size tire, but as the 235/45-17 is about 3.5"-4" larger in cross section, the tire assembly would be stick up above the trunk floor.

doesn't fit depth wise. Trunk liner will stick up about an inch. I did it when I went 2000km road trip, and in case that the tire popped i didn't wanna drive on a spare through the mountains.
