FSB - Upgrade with polyurethane bushings?

While increasing FSB diameter is probably not wise as it increases understeer, has anyone thought about changing the bushings to polyurethane (as many of us have done with the Comptech RSB & the Energy Suspension bushings)? The Energy #5111R looks like the exact item for the front.

As many may have noticed the FSB is mounted above the aluminum powertrain subframe before it is attached to the boby during assembly. Its essentially trapped - and it appears that we are lacking at least a clear inch of working space that would be needed to back out the bushing straps.

A look at the shop manual under FSB replacement is not promising - "lower engine subfame..."

Does anyone (i.e. a Honda technician) know if:

--- there is enough extra length on the 14mm mounting bolts to safely lower the subframe an inch or so?

--- is there enough slack in everthing (hoses, wiring, etc.) in the interface between powertrain and body to allow this movement?
