Front Shocks

Can somebody help me out here...Sorry for the novice question....Are the front shocks on my 08' the same part or are they left side and right side specific? Do I need to buy a left shock and a right shock or just 2 front shocks? Thank you in advance for any input it is greatly appreciated!!!

Assuming you are using OEM parts, if you are replacing the shock assembly (shock, spring, top hat), there are two part numbers - one left and one right. If you are just replacing the shocks inside the assembly, it is the same part.

Ok that is what I was hoping...so I have 2 front left aspec shock assemblies...I would just need to swap the top hat out to make it work for the right side correct? or are there other parts I would need?
