Foreign Wheels Fitments

Hello,

I was looking at some OEM Mercedes or BMW rims and was wondering if there is a way to make them fit on a TL. Thank you in advance.

Personally I wouldn't use adaptors, just get them redrilled to our bolt patten.

I would use adapters, cheapest and easiest way to do it I think. VW people have been using adapters on MB/AUDI/BMW wheels for ages. You just have to be careful about offsets. I think that MB offsets are pretty high so using a 15mm adapter won't be a problem

Very interesting I appreciate the feedback. Adapters are definitely the easier way. i don't really understand the redrilling. I was wondering if I do that if I could still put my stock wheels on for the winter or I would need new rims completely. Also If any of you have had experience with this let me know your opinions. Thank you in advance.

if you redrill the MB wheels, you'll change the wheel bolt pattern to accomodate 5x114.3 so it can fit your car. you're redrilling the wheel... not your car.

Redrilling the MB wheels or using an adapter will both be reversible... you can use stock wheels again
