Ford Fusion Sport Wheels

I know I will be flamed for this... but I might be able to get a great price for a set of 2010 Fusion Sport wheels from a friend. They are a very similar design as the the standard TL wheel, but are instead 18x8. The offset is almost identical to my RJ Inspyers, which would provide a nice stance. The only issue is that it would require hub centric rings.

So you're wanting an opinion?

Well, I'd say stick with your RJ's.

sorry...yes, I meant to ask what are your thoughts? I was only considering it as an option since they are a similar design as the oem but with a better offset and 18" and the fact I am considering going back to the oem wheels. It's just a crazy idea and I felt like sharing.

I vote for it. I like the light gray finish, and the chunky 5 spoke look. I have mesh 18x8's right now, but I'm thinking of going back to the 06 stock wheels. I've always been looking for a "chunky" 5 spoke 18x8 wheel, but they are scarce. Since it's your friend, you can at least test fit the wheels on one side w/o the hubcentric rings, just to take a pic and look. I'd say go for it if the price is right. And I would definitely change the center cap to either nothing, or maybe an acura oem one might slap in.

dchian, I tend to agree with you... THe only thing is I really don't like the fact of having to deal with hub centric rings. as far as the finish, they are similar to our oem wheels, but with more of a darker metallic finish.
I will probably wait until spring to test them out and see how they look. It's a coworker and he hasn't decided on a new set, so who knows when they'll be available. I'll post a pic if and when I decide to check them out.

I also agree. RJ's a played out IMO. Find something a little more original, other than the Fusion wheels.

You don't need hub centric rings.

Again, I was looking at maybe going back to the orig 17" stock wheels, so I'm not choosing these over another aftermarket wheel. The only other option I'm considering is maybe going with a set of A-Specs that way I can keep my fairly new Conti DWS 18" Tires. The fusion sport wheels are very similar to the 17", but are 18 and can pick them up dirt cheap. I'm not into the whole wheel thing...I got a great deal on the RJ's and think they look clean and simple combined with a WDP A-Spec. although I'm not sure how they'll hold up to the roads(michigan) around here...another reason why I may try to find a set of aspecs.
