Flat Spotting on Yokohama's

I had 18 inch A-spec wheels and Yokohama Tires put on my 07 TL Type S. I am having a horrible problem with the tires flat spotting. I get in the car in the morning and it feels like my tires are oval. The steering wheel and seat shake for about the first 20 minutes until my tires warm up. I live in Florida, I would hate to see there tires in a real cold climate.

Has anybody else had this problem with the stock Yokohama Tires?

Same exact thing here...different place. But now I run michelin pilot alpins in the winter...which are way better ride-wise. But before it gets snow time and it starts getting cold....exactly as you describe it....like you are running on ovals for a few minutes. Suprised you are noticing that much in Florida though...WOW.

I dunno... I use yokohamas and right now it is COLD in DC (doesn't get over 30 during the day... and this is after having spring come early)... I've definitely noticed problems with traction when they're cold, but that's it... I've never noticed any flat spotting and i've even paid attention to see if I can't notice something, but I never have

I took the Yokohama's off of my 07 TL Type S and had Michelin Pilot Sport AS installed. I went to a 245/40/18. They ride so much better than the Yokohama. No handling loss either.

I am very happy I made the change.
