So yea, I called a few places including XXR directly and I was informed that the offset determines how the concave the wheels are gonig to be.

Or you can just try waiting it out for more people to make it fit and see what the problems are.

I love the XXR 527, at least from the pictures but im not sure how good they will look on my NBP. But Im very tempted. I need ur guys help as im really looking to pull the trigger. Right now i have A-spec suspension (for the manual tl even thought my car is AT) with RonJon Legends in 18 with Bridgestone Potenze RE960 in 245/40. Im sure i have a little problem being the tire is 245 wide but i need ur oppinion on the most aggressive choice i can go with without modifying anything. I dont wanna risk rubbing.

Another thing is since i have the NBP i always liked to put on some bronze wheels but theseo come only in matte finish and im not so sure i want that so i dont know if i should go with gold instead as i do really like that one too...im sure would look good on black.

thank you

Please read from the beginning of the thread. 18x8.75 +35 is your best bet without any mods

Another concern of mine is, will the +20 clear the struts/shocks?

Yeah, we actually ADD clearance from the shocks/struts, no problems there. Hopefully these arrive soon, I am going to be detailing the fender mods in a few weeks...HT-Spec II install is this weekend

Good luck with the install man. I installed my Type 1 a few weeks ago and everything went well.

I'm sure you have instructions and all. The main pointer I'd give is when getting the bottom fork bolts in. For me, I used a jack to raise the arm/section directly behind rotor so that the holes align properly with the shock ( I think for the rear only) and with the fork (for the front). That way the bolt slips thru with ease and no pressure required. Also torque all bolts to spec so you know everything is done right. Even though you can get away without removing the rear shelf, I did it because it is only 5 mins extra work and that way you have extra space and dont get stuff dirty.

I spoke to the guy today and he recommended me a 35mm offset and said it might need some fender rolling do to the tire being 245 wide. Is it expensive to have fenders rolled? Looking at my ronjons 8" wide and 32 offset, they are pretty flush already....

What do u guys think about the gold on nbp?

I doubt there will be any rubbing since you are not that low and +35 is not that aggresive. For a npb, I'd go with the gold or bronze.

All xxr rims are fairly cheap and they been around for a while. They definitely don't have as much bad cred as Rotas.

Glad to see you took the aggressive route and as far as people installing coilovers - I would roll your fenders first before putting on your coilovers then if need be u can come back and pull them some more- sometimes the coilovers make the distance from the hub to the fender to short for a fender roller to get the right angle for a clean roll even with it adjusted as short as it can go!

My SILVER XXR-527s shipped today

I'll probably order the tires tonight. Conti DWS 235/40-18.
