Well I just replaced my EL42's with some cherry Toyo P4 tires. God they feel so much better. Can you belive the dealer wanted $276 for each EL42. Not to mention installation and alinginment. Forget them. I got the toyos for $170 each plus $100 for installation and alinginment. The toyo's are so much better then those damn EL42's. The freeway on ramp that I usually take every morning, I could hit it at around 55 mph with my EL42's. But when I got these new Toyo's I was able to take it at about 68mph . Damn I love new tires . I suggest that everyone get rid of those freakin stock tires for something better.

Basically, any tires could be better than EL42s in any aspects.

Rets, do the 512s provide a softer ride than the stock tires? I'm thinking a somwhat softer ride will also hide the rattles a bit.

Ken, not pretty sure... for my preference, I think their quietness is very similar to each other. I don't feel any noise intrusion in any situations yet, but 512s don't make any noise while cornering. EL42s are quiet, but squealing while doing those sharp turns.

My EL42s, PVC 3709 and TU2 0704, are almost perfect, except flatspoting once and hydroplaning all the time. So far, 512s are superior to EL42s in all other categories.

I'll replace my tires if the tread depth is less than 4/32, this tires' price is very attrative to me.
