Finally found some wheels...need advice

Ok, so after a lot of time searching for some new wheels for my '05 Acura automatic (stock, no drop) NBP I think I may have found what I want.

I originally really wanted to get Enkei RP03s, but it was out of my price range.

So I found these R-1 Racing Hype on Wheelsnext.com I love the look of these, but I'm not sure how they would match up on my car. They only have 18 X 8 (I would've prefered 19s only because these are going to look tiny on my car - especially with that lip and no drop)

What do you guys think? Also, what size tire would you recommend?

Nice. But 19's with no drop would've made your car look like a boat, so 18's will make the non-drop look a bit more palatable.

So should I go with 235/40/18 or 245/40/18? I keep reading different arguements for either one.

Not too sure about that one, I guess it personal preference. I would go with 245/40/18 for a wider look

They have an 18X8 mass lip one on Wheelsnext.com. http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-rim...C%20Black.html

I'm worried about denting the lip though since it's so deep, and I don't really know the build quality of R-1s.

If you are already skeptical about the 18 to 19 size difference, don't do it and try to get it in 19's. Lips make the wheels look one size smaller, so you're 18's might come across as 17's. Last thing you want after dropping loot. I like those rims alot and I suggest you try to get them in 19's and 20's would look killer!!

If the lip is a chromed SS overlay be carful of the quality .. I had a set with that type of lip and it didn't fit snug over the rim part it covered and dented really easy.

I prefer a machined lip etc .. I have the Axis Shines and they are the same style.

No clue. I've read HPO. The 19s on R-1s website reads 40+, but they don't have any info on the 18s.

THose are dang nice man..im digging them. Agreed with everyone else, if you want the 18 look with lipped rims, go 19s...they always do seem smaller.

No idea on the quality though, but the R1 Drift rims will probably be seen around more often since they are knockoffs of the Super Rozzas from PIAA, but i think those were a copy of something else too.
