Rule #1 Never put after market wheels on a non lowered car.

In this case don't but poorly painted, no center cap having Brobra wheels on your TL. It just looks out of place.

Some people can't afford rims and a drop all at once. I like the style of the Cobra rims but not on a TL.

I agree.

Actually it is lowered..its only done in the front right now. The rear will be done this week.

H&R and i am actually impressed with them alot.

The wheels are actually being plast-dipped as we speak. i didnt like the color.

New tires and a lower stance will help. I'm assuming those are 275/40's on there still. I'm not really a fan of those on a TL, but I've seen worse. If you really like that look, check out the 18" AFS 03/04 Cobra wheels. Nothing beats the factory wheels on these cars when it comes to 17's.

Doesn't look too bad, in the black or gunmetal would def be better choice in coloring.

Not a fan, luxury car's aren't supposed to have pony car wheels. It makes it look cheap.

Cobra is worthy though.

actually no, there stock size tl tires. I had the 18 afs's hated them.

I actually think these are very close to the factory five spokes, just alittle cleaner looking.

Cobratt, we have a Multi-Quote button in the lower right hand corner of each post. You can use it to respond to multiple people in a single reply, just like above!

So those are 235/45R17 on there ? They look huge.

Did they rub when turning or bumps or anything ?

If they are still on the car can you post some more pictures

I have my 04 stock rims painted black...looks similar
I have the same issue, heres why it doesnt look as good as it can
1) on 17s u need a big drop (I have eibachs on a 6mt, front is higher, looks like ass)
2) tires arent low profile. Keep an eye out for used low pros

Im getting coils this month and looking for used low profiles. Hopefully it resolves my problem

Those wheels look awful. The stock TL wheels look so much better.

Then don't modify your car at all. Wait til you can afford to do it right.
