Fake TEIN Basics? Please help!! Thanks.
Hi everyone, I was very excited today to pick up a very new used set of TEIN basic for 500CDN.
Little concerned that the markings on the label on the shocks don't match what I find online. All sellers say the part number is DSA80-LUSS2 for 2004+
However, my shocks say DLA81-U2531 on the longer ones and DLA80-U2531 on the shorter ones. (btw, I have no mechanical skills. not even sure which is front and back.hehe)
I thought I got ripped off for sure. then I searched Azine and found this old post with no one opposing the part numbers which make me think I got the real deal. Can someone help me out? Not sure if I should even get them installed on the car now.

Because Tein shock assy for TL and Accord do not have the same part numbers. Each shock assy contains the rubber boot, bump stop, spring seat, 2 spring seat locks (which all these share the same part numbers between Accord and TL) and the shock itself.
BTW, I don't have TSX's shock part numbers so I'll compare Accord and TL kits.
Here are the part numbers for Tein Basic c/o and their shock assy for TL and Accord:
TL kit: DSA80-LUSS2
Fr shock assy: DLA80-U2531
Rr shock assy: DLA81-U2531
Accord kit: DSA50-LUSS2
Fr shock assy: DLA50-U2531
Rr shock assy: DLA51-U2531
Thanks everyone, please reply with any info you may have. I would really appreciate it.
