factory wheel alignment

Anybody know how sh_tty the alignment comes from the factory? I spoke with an alignment shop in NJ, HR-Muzzio, and he said that Acura is known for having misalignments right out of the box. Could this explain all the vibration issues people are having?

It makes sense, i think, because people are saying it gets progressively worse with mileage, which during this time the suspension components are being seated into the car which would change alignment?

Not only Acura, its a damn shame that these factories are putting out cars that are out of line. Then again, I heard that the cars are usually strapped down hard on the convoys and trains getting from the factory to the dealer. That can cause alignment to get out of line.

it does seem to happen a lot with Honda for some reason. I had a 2000 Accord ex v6 and a 03 TL-s, both bought new and both had to be brought back within a couple weeks for alignment as they were way off from the factory. I've notice my 05 TL seems to be pulling to the right, just been to lazy to bring it in yet.

They do crank them down hard for transport so it is certainly possible it happens in transit.

05 TL right side caster and camber out of spec, car drifting to the right.

Dealer called Acura techs and was advised to unblot the front subframe and move it the the right. After doing this, caster and camber specs remain out of spec.

Waiting for Acura tech to get back to the dealer on a fix
