Depends on what package your bought. There was a summer tire package that would have given you bridgestone Potenza RE030. If it was just a regular TL-S it would have been the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4.

My 08 TypeS 6MT came new with Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 235/45 17 all seasons.
Depends if you got the summer tire option. Tirerack.com lists the summer tire as Bridgestone Potenza RE030 . and this is what I recall.
235/40 18 if you got the ASpec.

So the tire only changes if u order the car with HPT option its a option if not then the factory releases them with Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 is that rite ?
