I'm unsure why you would post this in this thread. I'm also unsure why you say what are you going to do because I spoke to you last week and said I would replace it for you. And as I said this morning it already shipped with your top hat.
If you don't have your top plate by the end of this week PM or email me. All of them have shipped.

Yes you are right. I got upset that I had to try to make the effort to call them often, but then again they could also be busy too. I guess I just got too worried about riding around with a broken mount as this is my only car and daily driver, but all is well now.

Josh, I just got these coilovers from a member who got it in the GB...
"anthracitecl" the spring rates are 12/8....I know you offer 1 year warranty, I hope the "left over period" can be transferred over to me....what i have read about these coilovers, i might not need the warranty but just for my peace of mind....
finally do you offer some extended warranty or some like that ?

The warranty is 1 year. They can be rebuilt after that though for a fairly inexpensive rate (I believe it's $85 a shock). And rebuilding is done in the US.

And the response I got was "that's the address we have on file," appended to an email string in which I asked you to send it directly to my house and gave you the address, to which you responded, "Got it, thanks."
This is by far the hokiest, shittiest group buy I've ever been involved in. I want to drive to the harbour, charter a fishing boat, pilot it out to sea and then drop these God foresaken coilovers straight into the ocean. I don't even want to put them on my car anymore.

damn Vic....i understand this can be frustrating....first the delay then the top hats and finally the shipping....
the thing i want to point out is this is why there is an introductory price....coz all this is bound to happen....check the ECU thread out....it is nothing but a bloody mess....delays and out of stock harnesses....here the members saved ~20% of the cost in the GB and similarly over there they saved 15% of the cost....
vendors organize GB to not only gauge the interest but also find out more about the quality of the product....in the end it will be all good....
i know it seems bittersweet right now but to tell you, I organized ECU GB and have paid for the ECU back in December 2011, still waiting for my product....so this wasnt bad at all.... Josh has provided excellent customer service (which you can see in this thread) and about the shipping mix up, he is only human mah man...shit happens....

Yes we did speak yesterday morning after I called you. It would've been nice to let me know (via email, call, or even PM) after you actually shipped them out. Nonetheless, I am once again a happy customer so thank you for the service.

^^^ the rear rings were stuck at 1.25" and hence only the fronts were lowered....
every winter i raise her up by 1" and bring her back down when Spring arrives...this spring the damn rings were stuck LOL....either way, i got her down 3 days back, so she sits even all around right now.....
as i said i have only 0.15-0.25" left on the Teins....and because of the weight of the car (3080 lbs) slamming her is tough LOL....and spacers add weight John ....waiting for 9" wide rims

Not to , but I finally managed to get to my receiver and pick up the replacement parts. Turns out it was only a replacement part, as I was also expecting the replacement pillow balls. I checked the email strings and this forum again: you offered to replace these, as well, and I requested them.
*sigh*

^Why do you need replacement pillow balls?

Racer
Because one of the pillow balls has a cut all the way around it.
The manufacturer sent out 80 sets of them and the vendor was supposed to forward them on to purchasers, as per this post. I also ensured that this was the case in my email to the vendor. So imagine my surprise (not really all that surprised at this point, to be honest) when I knifed open the padded envelope and only the top mount came out.

There are no piillowball upper mounts on the TL 04-08 coilovers. It comes with an aluminum top mount. The plate was the only issue. There was a machined piece that had a ring in it but that is not a pillowball mount and that was never sent because there is no difference. You have everything you need to install the coilovers.

We wanted to update you all on the resolution we have worked out with ISC. It reads as follows:
Just a quick update from ISC:
Hello Acura customers,
This letter is coming directly from ISC Suspension North America.
First of all, I would like to thank you all for choosing ISC Suspension for your coilover solution. Excelerate Performance has informed me that some of you have been having issues with your coilovers. Just to summarize the reported issues:
04-08 Acura TL one of the top plates is inverted or the opposite bolt pattern that it should be. When we first talked about the Excelerate ISC Acura coilovers we sent an 04-08 TL to try out on a customers car. We found that there was a difference in how they should mount up. ISC NA sent to the factory the correct top plate. When they were made one of the plates was made as the original, incorrect plate. We have this sorted and will have 30 new plates for the 04-08 Acura TL’s sometime next week.
09+ Acura TL we have realized that the top plate has an extra bolt. If you are to tap out the extra stud on the 2 stud setup you should be able to mount these up no problems at all. This is being fixed looking into the future.
It has also been brought to my attention that some of the pillowballs look slightly different. There is no performance difference. However I am having 80 new sets of pillowballs delivered so every set can be uniform.
Please let Excelerate know if you spot any other issues so we can provide a solution as quickly as possible.
Now while these issues are prevalent and they can be quite frustrating you are only helping a small, growing company to improve and grow. These are the situations that separate a strong company from a fly by night operation. We are here to stay and grow to help you and many other customers into the future. ISC NA and Excelerate Performance will not rest until you are taken care of, trust that. This is a great quality suspension system and although we have had a small mishap this will be made right and you will all enjoy your new coilover systems.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and will see to it that this is made right!
Thank you,
ISC Suspension North America

I don't have time to read through all 13 pages of this thread. (AKA I'm too lazy). Anyone install these yet? What are your thoughts so far? How long did it take to install and did you need slang special tools?
I'm looking to get a set of coilovers and although the choices are limited, all seem to have conflicting opinions, which makes it impossible to make an informed decision.
Quality and longevity wise, I don't know how these are, but money wise, they seem to be the best bang for your buck.
So what's the word on these so far?
