Enkei VR5 with Toyo Proxes R888 on my Type S

Hey guys. I picked up a new set of summer wheels, Enkei VR5, and tires, Toyo Proxes R888, for my TL Type S.

I posted this on /r/Acura a while ago and got quite a bit of hate. I personally like the look. Though I definitely think I need to go low.

please excuse the dirt and terrible chipping on the caliper, i'll be refinishing them soon.

Wheels are the same size as the stock Type S wheels. Didn't really want to go bigger due to weight, the VR5's are 3lbs lighter then stock, see picture, but I may end up picking up some 18's too.

Just wanted to share, and hear your guys thoughts. Thanks.

Thanks for the comments. I will be getting coilovers soon. I've been hearing a lot that people don't like the black. I was also going to try my hand at plastidipping them gold or bronze. I'll also try to get better pictures soon.

I personally can't stand black or colored wheels, but many disagree. This is why the new Vette has wheels to please everybody, silver, polished , black, satin black, or chrome wheels available as options. Sorry, no colored wheels.

It's true everyone has different opinions. I personally like the black color against the Carbon Bronze.

I am in the process of accenting the wheels with red lug nuts and refinishing my Brembos in red as well. Red and Black are my favorite colors, so I personally think its going to look great.

I also picked up some Megan Racing coilovers, I'll be installing those soon as well, it should look much better lowered.
