Enkei EKM3 Gunmetal Gloss

18 x 8

I think these would look good on my WDP.

These shouldnt have a problem clearing the brembos?

Hmm let me try posting the pic one more time

It fits over the brembos. I bought one to test fit and will be buying the whole set sometime this week or next.

If the picture doesn't post here is the link of the rim on the car.

18x8 +40 I believe is the only offset doable

let me help you out there

they look way better than I thought... any chance the acura center cap fits?

and for $100 a wheel... SHIT
streetdreams.org $185 per wheel

Thanks for the help and you are correct, Enkei only offers the 18x8 5x114.3 pattern with a +40 offset.

The reason why I chose the rim is because I have the a-spec kit installed minus the wheels and A-spec wheels cost to much for what they are when there are better alternatives out there for the money. The gunmetal is actually close if not the same color as the oem type-s wheel, but not surprised since the oem wheels are made by Enkei. The only down side is the rim weighs 25 lbs, if weight matters. With the EKM3's you are not gaining any performance value over the a-specs since they both weigh the same but not losing any either, they cost a lot less and imo look better.

Get either a 5 or 10mm spacer to make it sit more flush.

Nice I went Gunmetal obviously.

I ordered the set +tires from tirerack today and I didn't want to bargin with the price since the gunmetal rims are 175 vs the 170 I found at buywheelstoday.com. So With tires and TPMS I am getting the install kit which includes the hub rings and lug nuts for free plus free mount and balance for $1346 delivered. I went with the sumitomo HTR z III.

Also I talked to the Tirerack rep and mentioned these will be installed on an 07 tl type-s which they show does not fit on there site. I asked if I send you pictures after they are mounted will there be a possibilty they can be listed under the type-s since they will have proof of fitment? and the answer was obviously yes. I explained the issue that many owners with the brembos have a hard time looking for rims because of the fitment issue and that I posted this pic up on here and it was well recieved. So I hope they follow through with it and this will help give unknowing owners not part of the zine more options when shopping around. Good thing they fit, I would have been if not and possibly stuck with it.

local members doing these also but on 245/40-18 tires... the extra sidewall should make for a flusher fit

Yea the type m's are nice wheel too.. But they are around $150-200 more for the set, I still find ekm3 to be extremely cost effective

So far those Tenzo Type M's were my pick - but these Enkei's are definitely a close second. Both keep that stock-ish look.

The tenzo's are nice but if you have brembos I think you will need to use a spacer. I am anti spacer.

I would have bought the RPM2's over the ekm3's if they were still available. I think the 18's were like 19 pounds and they cost was under 200 per wheel.

Better how? I'm seriously interested in these wheels, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the color on them is. How would you describe it? Does it change in sunlight/darkness?

Anybody feel free to chime in!

Seriously though, I even made a web gallery of all of the pics I could find of these wheels in Hyper Silver and I swear that the finish looks different in every picture. Which of these pictures do you think best represents what the wheel looks like the majority of the time?

its because the hyper looks darker from different angles... the sides of the spokes shade themselves making the color look different

that is the beauty of hypersilver...

ps. if a flash is used the color looks completely off
